We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Cardiff team!
An exciting and challenging opportunity to join the global Sales organization of Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions!
Location: Remote - Ideal Geo Location – within 90 minutes of Cardiff, Wales or Dublin, Ireland – Remote, with an expectation of 40% travel to customer sites and CW sites.

* Manage internal and external stakeholders to drive successful sales outcomes through the full sales lifecycle.
* Own and manage a rolling 3-year forecast to accurately deliver Order Intake for future business planning.
* Manage large and established accounts across Europe.
* Identify and create opportunities for future sales and growth.
* Work closely with Bid Management to lead and coordinate bid activity.
* Communicate and meet with a wide range of account stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain face-to-face relationships with customers, which may require overseas travel (likely a few times a month).
* Build and manage a sales pipeline, including the creation and management of account plans and strategies for targeted customers.
* Understand the requirements from end users and relevant stakeholders, and act as the voice of the customer within the company.
* Manage and support established business/customers to enable retention and ensure full penetration.
Your Expertise:
* Experience in selling into or working with Defense and Aerospace OEMs supplying Radars, Aircraft Electronic Systems, Electronic Warfare, or Mechanized Land Armored Vehicles (desired).
* Proven success in sales/orders within a competitive Military/Commercial Aerospace or Military Land environment.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to foster discipline and generate bidding opportunities with major OEM accounts. Past dealings with Airbus, Thales, Leonardo are highly desirable.
* A proven track record in managing large sales accounts.
* 7 to 10 years in Sales Account Management.
