Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client regarding this permanent position of Contracts Manager.

Job Title: Contract Manager

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Salary: DOE

Location: At a prestigious regional sports stadium in Sheffield S2

Our client, founded in 2000, has grown to service customer accounts throughout the Yorkshire Region and surrounding areas. They offer Contract Cleaning, Washroom Services, Pest Control including all consumables, a full window cleaning service, and support services that help businesses save money and manage risks.

Job summary:

To perform as a member of the Operational team to retain and grow business from existing customer accounts.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage contracts and workforce to high standards as assigned by the OM.
* Achieve excellent or good ratings on all audit visits.
* Manage a portfolio of clients based on contracts, value, and staff count.
* Ensure adequate cover for sickness, holidays, and absences; cover any specific cleaner if no cover is in place.
* Visit the cleaning team at each customer site at least three times a month.
* Conduct periodic audits to check quality standards.
* Exceed client expectations.
* Recruit and train new staff, from cleaners to supervisors.
* Provide timely weekly/monthly management reports.
* Ensure all paperwork, including timesheets and audit cards, are returned to HQ within deadlines.
* Manage special projects such as events and outdoor activities.
* Check and audit stock allocation at customer premises.
* Develop a customer-focused culture and standards.
* Respond promptly to customer requests.
* Follow all system workflows and procedures.
* Research and resolve client issues, working with management.
* Escalate serious issues to senior management promptly.
* Communicate company goals and strategies effectively to drive performance.
* Maintain a professional corporate image to achieve market leadership.
* Coordinate activities with other Contract Managers and the operational team.
* Update customer files regularly with relevant information.
* Use contract management data to monitor potential issues and industry changes.
* Stay informed about the company's products, services, and systems.

Additional details:

* Ensure compliance with key practices and standards.
* Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
* Maintain a full clean driving license.
* Manage risks and ensure client confidentiality.
* Meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.
* Process wages, holidays, and sickness data accurately.
* Investigate and solve financial issues within contracts.
* Uphold standards of fairness, honesty, and professionalism.
* Lead, train, and develop team skills; participate in recruitment and succession planning.
* Respond to emails daily.
* Innovate continuously in systems and working methods.

Experience required:

* Proven ability to meet goals within budget and develop strategies.
* Operational management experience managing staff at all levels.
* At least three years of B2B experience in the cleaning industry.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and teams.
* Strong people management and leadership skills.
* Track record of developing innovative customer approaches.
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment and at all organizational levels.
* Project management experience.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent skills in verbal, written, Excel, PowerPoint, and communication.

Package and further details:

* Petrol Allowance: for travel between sites in S2 and S4, Sheffield.
* Hours: 40 hours/week with availability for weekend work and lieu time.
* Package: Bupa, 3% pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
