This full-service events and communications agency works with well-known global brands, mainly in healthcare and pharma, to deliver a variety of events and experiences. They handle large-scale congresses for thousands of attendees and smaller meetings for hundreds, with complex logistical elements, operating worldwide in fantastic destinations. As they expand, they are hiring a New Business Development Director to support their growth strategy.
The role
This highly autonomous yet collaborative role involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the agency's global brand presence. Responsibilities include lead generation, prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting to clients, responding to RFPs, leading pitches, and securing contracts. The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders, preparing winning pitch responses, and attending events to engage with new contacts.
About you
Proven experience in new business development within the events, exhibitions, and production industry is essential. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences events sector would be advantageous but not mandatory. Experience managing the full sales cycle, networking at industry events, and securing new business for an agency are key requirements.
