About the role
As a Math Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of mathematical subjects, supporting learners at various levels. You will contribute to curriculum development, foster an inclusive learning environment, and play an active role in the academic life of the department.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across core and advanced mathematical topics.
* Provide academic support, guidance, and constructive feedback to students.
* Develop and update teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
* Participate in curriculum planning and quality assurance processes.
* Contribute to departmental meetings, student progress reviews, and open events.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Qualifications
You are a passionate educator with a deep love for mathematics and a talent for bringing complex ideas to life in ways that feel clear, creative, and genuinely exciting. With a degree in Mathematics or a closely related field and ideally a teaching qualification, you thrive in environments where you can support diverse learners and help them grow in confidence and ability. Compensation and Benefits
Salary: £32,200 – £50,100 per annum (dependent on teaching). Fixed‑term contract.
