The campaign is open to candidates willing to work in Swindon, Reading, Oxford, Bristol, Truro and Yeovil.
Role Overview
As a Police Officer you will protect millions of passengers, staff and the public. Your duties will include visible patrolling, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, gathering intelligence and building trust with local communities.

* No application if you have been unsuccessful in arrival last 6 months for BTP Police Officer or Special Constable roles.
* No application if unsuccessful in online ability testing for Police Officer, Special Constable or PCSO; you must wait 6 months.
* No application if BTP vetting checks failed within last 12 months.
* No application if convicted of custodial sentence (incl. suspended); other cautions/convictions must be declared but are not necessarily a bar.
* No application if previously dismissed from another force or currently under investigation.
* No application if declared bankrupt, have a CCJ or un‑managed IVA.
* No application if tattoo is offensive; heavy face/neck tattoos assessed case‑by‑case.
* No application if lacking permanent right to live and work in UK.
* No application if not resident in UK for past 3 years.
