KS1 Class Teacher – Supply Role
Location: North East Lincolnshire
Job Type: Temporary (Monday–Friday, flexible)
Pay: £135–£170 per day
About the Role
Reed Education is looking for a caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to support primary schools across North East Lincolnshire on a flexible supply basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives within Key Stage One, enjoys variety, and values the balance of day-to-day, short-term, and potential long-term placements.
What You Will Be Doing
• Teaching KS1 classes (Year 1 and Year 2) using pre-planned lessons and resources
• Creating a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting early reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy development
• Managing behaviour and routines in line with school expectations
• Helping pupils feel settled, confident, and ready to learn
• Accessing flexible supply work with opportunities for extended placements

• Skilled at building warm, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

What You Will Need
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS1 within UK primary schools
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service xsngvjr (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication, organisation, and a nurturing approach
