The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Your responsibilities will include :
* Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning
* Delivering targeted interventions and structured small group work
* Providing 1:1 support, including for pupils with additional needs
* Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
* Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion
* Contributing to a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
About You
* A Level 2 / 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND
* A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
* Strong spoken English skills are essential to effectively support pupils, particularly in a school with a high proportion of learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Must have the right to work in the UK
