Are you ready to take the lead in shaping communities and delivering excellence? Here at Bloor Homes, we're looking for a Road & Estates Adoptions Manager to join our South West team, based in Swindon and supporting legacy sites across the region. This is a dynamic role where you'll collaborate with our Land and Commercial Departments, manage tendering processes, oversee sub-contractors, and ensure smooth adoption of infrastructure and estates.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating tendering, cost analysis, and order placement
* Liaising with statutory authorities and planning/highway departments to achieve timely adoption of infrastructure (Sections 104/38/185 etc.)
* Overseeing sub-contractors and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies
* Managing documentation from instruction to adoption
* Maintaining accurate cost records and collaborating with the Commercial Department
* Proven experience in construction, particularly road construction
* Strong communication skills for working with local authorities, solicitors, and customers
* Full UK Driving Licence
* IT skills and budget management capabilities
* Excellent negotiation and time management skills
* A construction management qualification is desirable
