Are you a Revenues Officer looking for work in North West London or remotely from home?
Morgan Hunts Public Sector and Government client based in North West London is looking to recruit a Revenues Officer to provide support throughout a busy period. This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.
Responsibilities
* Proficiently use the Iworld/Northgate Version 6 ICT System
* Deliver an efficient, effective revenue collections and recovery service through the prompt and accurate processing of information
* Open, close and amend Council Tax Accounts
* Take payments and set up direct debits
* Apply discounts, reliefs, exemptions and disregards
* Handle moves in and out of properties
* Trace absconded Council Tax Payments
* Check and issue recovery notices in line with set timetables
* Determine liabilities
* Issue reminders and notices
* Handle summons arrangements
* Respond to enquiries from taxpayers by telephone, letter, email or in person
* Assist the Court taking officer to provide evidence in support of the Councils cases
