Overview
We’re currently recruiting full time or part time Mental Health Practitioners to work directly with young people in our schools Mental Health Teams.
Responsibilities
* Offer a flexible range of short-term and longer-term mental health interventions to primary and secondary aged children and young people.
* Provide individual and group-based support.
* Deliver workshops and mental health themed activities.
* Provide crisis support.
* Develop new initiatives and ways of working to support young people’s mental health across South London.
Qualifications and qualities
* A mental health qualification is required.
* At least two years’ experience of working with young people.
* Open and flexible attitude; excellent engagement skills; and a passion for working with children and young people around mental health.
