Job Description of Telecoms Fibre Engineer
* Completing Fibre installations overhead and underground fibre.
* Blowing fibre, splicing, backfill and reinstatement.
* Use and basic maintenance of a works tablet, fibre splicing machine, Power Meter, Fibre Identifier and Microscope.
* Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries.
Key Requirements of Telecoms Engineer
* Full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points on.
* Accreditations: SA001, SA002, NRSWA.
* You will be Friendly, Customer focussed and desire to resolve any issues.
Telecoms fibre engineer physical requirements
* The ability to lift objects regularly.
* The ability to safely climb ladders.
* The ability to bend and stretch with comfort.
* The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
