Overview
We are seeking an OTC/Billings expert to work on a global project to oversee quality assurance within our centralised billings. You will play a key role in the newly established team, ensuring controls and engaging with leaders throughout the organisation. Your responsibilities include maintaining flawless billing processes and compliance standards. How you'll make an impact Project manage the rollout of the quality assurance controls across all Divisions by educating Operational leaders on SOX Billing requirements. Lead an offshore Quality Assurance Team. Collaborate with Divisional teams to efficiently integrate new Agency Management Systems (AMS) into the process. Perform risk assessments for each AMS to determine the appropriate QA sample sizes. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), trackers, and monthly/quarterly result reporting. Take responsibility for remedial action planning and execution in conjunction with relevant experts within the firm. Conduct walkthroughs with Internal and External Auditors and act as the main point of contact for audit queries relating to Billing controls. Foster connections with operational control owners, the QA team, and different tiers of management. Act as a respected control advisor to operational control owners. Lead SOX compliance for Divisional billing processes. Successfully convey SOX-related concerns and needs to different management tiers. Supervise the rectification of shortcomings highlighted by the QA team and assist operational teams in putting action plans into effect. Focus on optimising the control environment. Align with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements, especially Whistle Blowing and Treating Customers Fairly. Ensure accountability for business compliance with applicable laws, regulations, good governance, and Gallagher’s shared values, with a focus on client-centric service. About You University Degree or equivalent experience. Operational billing knowledge. Proven project management skills. US GAAP experience (preferred, but not essential). Experience with implementing new processes and/or controls. Ability to prioritise and manage challenging deadlines. Understanding of SOX and regulatory/control-based environments. Flexible attitude to managing multiple tasks and environments. Strong organisational and influencing skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to change. Attention to detail. Positive and enthusiastic attitude. Confident and autonomous working ability. Eligibility to work in the UK.
