Offer description

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
* Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students.
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
* Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies on assessment and safeguarding.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives.
* Support and promote extra-curricular activities within the English department

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to achieve their full potential in English Language and Literature., Line Manager: Head of English, A qualified teacher with QTS and a degree in English

* Passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4.
* A proven track record of successful outcomes at KS3 and KS4
* Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
* A team player who contributes positively to the English department and wider school community.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children., Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Strong subject knowledge in English.
* Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills., A love of learning through a passionate and committed approach
