Bank Project Worker – Mulberry House, Bath – £13.34 per hour – Hours as and when required
Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Project Worker at our Mental Health Service, Mulberry House, Bath. We specialise in delivering personalised housing, care, and support services to help people live as independently as possible. Responsibilities
* Provide support to encourage customers with mental health needs to maximise their own potential and independence
* Support progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
* Offer one-to-one support as required
* Promote safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customers’ needs
* Regularly assess customers, and write/update support plans
* Develop professional relationships with customers, communicating clearly to maintain personal choice, privacy and dignity
* Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
Skills and experience
* Previous experience of working with adults with mental health needs
* Possess lived experience of using mental health services or the ability to relate and empathise with people with mental health issues (advantageous)
* Ability to support people in crisis
* Ability to work effectively in highly pressured situations
* Experience with developing and maintaining accurate records and support plans
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards is desirable
