EYFS Teaching Assistant - Winstanley
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school located in Winstanley (WN3), which is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term temporary role supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is full-time, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 am to 3:30 pm.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and support staff to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment. You will provide tailored support to SEND pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, ensuring they remain engaged and make progress in line with their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher and collaborate with support staff
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEND pupils
* Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
* Help pupils stay on task and achieve their learning goals
Desirable skills and experience include EYFS and SEND experience, a patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach, a passion for supporting children with additional needs, recent relevant experience working with children within the past two years, good numeracy and literacy skills, the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher, and reliability and punctuality.
