As a Warehouse Operative based in Barking youll be responsible for: Ensuring our OTIF(On Time In Full) and SLAs are met with accurate picking and packing of customer orders Supporting the warehouse team to receive and receipt inbound external orders Proactively supporting the team on receipt of our feeder deliveries to ensure orders are fulfilled to customers Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets Supporting the transport and operations manger with loading of fleet for following day Providing cover driving a 3.5T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturdays on a rota basis 8.00am - 12.00pm And heres what wed like you to have: Previous industry or warehouse experience would be ideal Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and step up to run the department in your managers absence.
