We’re working with a high-growth, Series B SaaS company hiring multiple Backend Software Engineers to build an AI-driven platform used by large enterprises to automate complex finance workflows.
The product is already deeply embedded with customers and relied on day to day, with strong expansion across the platform. As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll be joining at a key growth point with plenty of greenfield work and the opportunity to shape how the platform evolves.
The role
As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll join a small, cross functional squad made up of backend, frontend, AI, product and design, owning a specific area of the platform. Teams rotate regularly, giving Backend Software Engineers exposure across different parts of the product and keeping the work varied.
This is an environment where Backend Software Engineers are trusted with real ownership. You’ll be involved in designing solutions, shaping systems, and driving work forward rather than just picking up tickets.
There is also a strong focus on engineering quality. Backend Software Engineers here are encouraged to build things properly, with an emphasis on long term maintainability over quick fixes.
AI is a core part of how Backend Software Engineers operate, actively used across engineering rather than treated as a separate initiative.
They are also open to Backend Software Engineers from Go or TypeScript backgrounds who are happy to work in Python.
