About the Role:
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Curriculum Support Assistant to join our supportive team at an excellent high performing school, located in the heart of Morpeth. This is a vital role within the school, providing practical, administrative, and learning support across a range of curriculum areas to help deliver high-quality education for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching staff in preparing and maintaining teaching resources and classroom environments.
Assist with classroom displays and organisation of materials across different subjects.
Provide targeted support to small groups or individual pupils under the guidance of teaching staff.
Support the use of ICT and digital tools in learning environments.
Supervise pupils during non-classroom times such as lunch or break, if required.
Help with the organisation of school trips, events, and extracurricular activities.
Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has a genuine passion for working in education and supporting children’s learning.
Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
Is flexible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Has good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Support qualification).
