Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Duties
* Safely operate a delivery van or vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
* Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding any issues or delays.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
* Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
* Assist in the warehouse as needed, including sorting and preparing goods for delivery.
Experiences
* Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is advantageous.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
* Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in handling heavy lifting tasks.
* A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven is required.
