Responsibilities
The role is to manage our in‑house Clinical Team at Bankside College, working collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead. You will clinically lead the team while holding a therapy caseload, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and SEHM needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus, targeting OFG clinical ways of working embedded in practice. You will also coordinate line management of onsite clinical staff and lead on the development of the clinical school‑based service alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead. Our teams maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach with a strong safeguarding culture.
Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
* Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or another approved governing body, with valid and up‑to‑date professional registration and membership (e.g., BPS)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred)
