Senior Quantity Surveyor – Specialist Subcontractor | Stone, Cladding & Masonry | Vauxhall
We are working with a well-established specialist subcontractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of two live packages, each valued at approximately £5m.
This is an immediate requirement, and the client is looking to move quickly through the process.
The Projects
You will be responsible for two active packages:
A commercial new build in Maidenhead featuring stone brick and stone cladding
A mixed new build and restoration project in Liphook involving traditional masonry and refurbishment of a period property
Both packages are well underway, so you'll need to hit the ground running commercially.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the full commercial management of your packages from procurement through to final account. Day to day you will be involved in:
Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reporting
Variations and change control
Contractual negotiations
Subcontract procurement and management
Interim valuations and final accounts
Client and main contractor liaison
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a specialist subcontractor environment
Stone, cladding, masonry or facade experience is highly desirable
Strong working knowledge of CVRs, variations and contractual matters
Ability to manage packages independently with minimal supervision
Confident communicator at all levels
Package & Working Pattern
Salary: up to £85,000 + package
Location: Vauxhall, London
5 days per week in office during probation, reducing to 3 days thereafter
