Parts Advisor
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum + benefits
Neos Engineering are partnered with a well-established organisation within the construction and heavy plant machinery sector, who are seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join their growing team in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to support a leading brand in delivering outstanding service and operational excellence.
The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in assisting customers and internal teams with all parts-related enquiries, ensuring seamless service from enquiry through to delivery. You will maintain accurate stock levels, process orders efficiently, and coordinate with both dealers and internal departments to ensure timely supply and shipment of parts and components.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting customers and internal teams with parts sales, problem-solving, and deliveries.
* Maintaining excellent customer service by providing efficient and effective solutions.
* Assisting the Parts Manager in establishing competitive pricing strategies.
* Managing warehouse inventory to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
* Coordinating the unloading, stocking, packing, and shipment of parts.
* Communicating with the dealer network to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
* Delivering high standards of customer support across all touchpoints.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a background in parts or retail, ideally within a mechanical or technical environment. You will possess strong organisational and IT skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-driven setting.
Key requirements include:
* Previous experience in a parts or retail environment.
* Warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
* A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
* Self-motivated with a positive and proactive approach.
* Understanding of general mechanical or technical terminology.
* Strong work ethic with high attention to detail and organisation.
* Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general online tools.
* Multilingual skills are an advantage but not essential.
