We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on the development of high-performance electromechanical and imaging-based products. This role will involve leading mechanical design activities from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the mechanical design and development of complex products and assemblies from concept to manufacture
* Produce detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks
* Design for manufacture, including plastic injection moulding, machining, and assembly processes
* Perform thermal analysis and develop solutions for heat management in compact electronic systems
* Design and develop test jigs, fixtures, and rigs for validation and verification testing
* Collaborate with electronics engineers to support PCB integration, enclosure design, and cable management
* Support prototype builds, testing, and design iteration
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong experience in 3D CAD design, ideally using SolidWorks
* Proven background in plastic injection moulding design and DFM principles
* Experience in thermal design and analysis of electronic/electromechanical systems
* Hands-on experience designing test jigs, fixtures, and rigs
* Good understanding of electronics integration, including PCB layout considerations and enclosure design
* Experience working with imaging systems, sensors, or embedded hardware
