Are you a passionate and experienced Mental Health Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a dedicated Band 6 nurse to join our dynamic Section 136 Suite team, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference.

At Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, our mental health services include a range of inpatient wards and two Section 136 suites across the county. These suites provide a vital place of safety for individuals brought in by the police under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act, offering compassionate care in a secure and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

* To participate in the delivery of psychiatric care services, with a priority area being the section 136 suite, for the local population within the contract specification between Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and its purchasers, within budgetary limits and service specifications under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor and the Ward Manager.
* Ensure all obligations of the Mental Health Act and the Code of Practice are fulfilled and other mental health legislation is complied with in accordance with the Care Programme Approach and Care Management Systems.
* To implement progressive, innovative and socially inclusive care plans with emphasis on user involvement.
