Senior Support Worker – Settled EBD Home
Burton-upon-Trent | £13.50ph + £105 per sleep-in | 168 hours per 4 weeks (plus sleeps)

About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll help lead a dedicated team providing consistent, therapeutic care in a three-bed EBD home rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Your shifts will reflect the needs of the home — typically 8am to 10pm — with sleep-ins paid additionally.
• Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a stable setting
• Provide leadership and guidance to support workers on shift
• Help ensure compliance with care plans and safeguarding procedures
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and colleagues
• Contribute to a therapeutic, child-centred culture in the home

About You:
• Experience working in EBD or similar residential childcare settings
• Confident supporting children with challenging behaviour
• Calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Ability to lead by example and support newer staff
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred
