Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Dorchester
An established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join its respected litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of personal and commercial dispute resolution matters, excluding property disputes which are handled by a separate team.
Responsibilities
* Advise clients on disputes and claims,
* Draft legal documents and correspondence,
* Carry out legal research in line with the SRA Code of Conduct,
* Represent clients in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation,
* Work closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment,
* Access training and clear career progression.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Applicants should be qualified Solicitors in England and Wales with a minimum of two years’ PQE in dispute resolution or civil litigation.
* A strong understanding of litigation procedures and ADR is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation and client-care skills.
* The ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively as part of a team is essential.
