Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background Welding and Fabrication, with the ability to work with steel plate up to 200mm. This role requires MIG Welding experience and proficiency in using hand/power tools and cutting torches Duties * Weld and Fabricate heavy steel plate according to specifications and engineering drawings. * Perform Welding tasks using MIG Welding techniques, ensuring high-quality Welds that meet industry standards. * Utilise hand/power tools and cutting torches for cutting, steel up to 200mm thick * Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications * Time served Welding and Fabrication * Proven experience in and Welding and Fabrication, particularly with steel plate. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to Fabrication tasks. * Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools/cutting torches safely and effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. * Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Must pass an initial bare wire MIG Weld Test * 5 Multi Runs with 2 or 3 showing * Fillet Weld Hourly Rate Basic Hours £19.00 CIS Basic Hours £17.23 (Includes holiday pay) Basic Hours £14.64 (Accrue holiday pay) Night Allowance £25.00 per Shift (£2.50ph) Overtime 1 x 1.50 (up to 5 hours) Overtime 2 x 1.66 (after 5 hours) Hours Night Shift (4 shifts) 21:00 – 07:30 Mon/Tue/Wed 20:30 – 07:00 Thu Day Shift 07:30 – 16:30 - Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu 07:00 – 12:00 – Fri
