Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Duties
* Handling materials, including loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse
* Managing inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
* Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
* Ensuring products are stored in accordance with safety standards
* Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and quality control checks
* Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
* Conducting quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards
* Supporting load and unload activities for delivery vehicles, ensuring safety protocols are followed
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
* Knowledge of materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management systems is advantageous
* Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment is desirable
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and quality control tasks
* Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks throughout the shift
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Any previous wood working experience would be advantageous
