We're seeking a reliable and organised Stores & Purchasing Operator to support smooth purchasing and inventory operations. You'll be a vital link between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring materials flow efficiently and stock is managed accurately to keep the business running seamlessly. The Stores & Purchasing Operator will: * Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying items against purchase orders. * Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or substandard goods. * Store stock correctly and maintain organisation following FIFO principles. * Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes. * Pick, prepare, and dispatch items promptly and accurately. * Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, and returns. The Stores & Purchasing Operator will have: * Valid forklift licence. * Computer literate with good organisational skills. * Strong adherence to procedures and health & safety guidelines. * COSHH awareness or training. * Working at heights certification. * Previous experience in stores or warehouse environment.
