Job Description
Assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising the standards of pupil attainment, and provide general support related to the needs of the class and individuals' care, health, wellbeing, and safety. Ensure a secure and safe environment.
There is a requirement to be flexible regarding school location within the cluster, according to individual circumstances, and to work with a range of pupils from P1 to S6.
The post holder should demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.
Working hours: 9.20am - 3.20pm, Monday to Friday.
There is a possibility that this post could continue beyond December.
Contract: Fixed Term until 01/12/2025.
This post involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The employment offer is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
Initially, you will be based at the advertised location but may be required to work elsewhere within the Portlethen CSN.
