Apply today, interview tomorrow! We have a weekly paid opportunity to join our client in a lovely residential care home in the heart of Worksop. The setting supports residents with a high standard of care in a homely environment. The specialist dementia-related care home can house 49 residents. The dedicated team of carers provide a full care package to promote wellbeing in a supportive and secure environment.
Responsibilities
As an experienced Care Assistant, you must have experience of dealing with residents with dementia, old age, and physical disabilities and a desire to assist them in activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will:
* Attend to individual care plans and provide a level of care tailored to the residents’ needs.
* Record and report any problems as they arise.
You will be working on various days with typical hours being either 07:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00. The role is ongoing, and you will be paid £12.35 per hour.
Qualifications & Requirements
* An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
* Up to date mandatory training (including Moving and Handling with Hoist Training).
* A referencable work history.
* At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.
All our Care Assistants must have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care and all mandatory training must be up to date.
