Hours: 8:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday with an hours lunch break. 37.5 per week.

Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests to ensure that our client’s products meet the highest standards of quality. You will play a vital role in maintaining our client’s reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with various departments including production planning, internal and external sales, and goods inwards to ensure that our client’s products meet or exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Ability to gain cooperation working with all levels.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, as well as customers and suppliers, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Conduct gravimetric and particulate cleanliness testing.
* Conduct quality inspections internally and externally, as required.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results and quality control activities.
* Document and report non-conformities or quality issues.
* Conduct root cause analysis.
* Technically advise as required from drawings.
* Use SAP to support all quality activities.
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
* The ability to cover all departmental roles.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
* Responsibilities as outlined in H&S Policy.
* Tube manipulation and hose assembly knowledge for technical investigations.
* Ensure maintained compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Essential Experience Required:
Proven experience as a quality team member or similar position in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment.
The main types of measuring equipment are CMM roma arms, vernier calipers, micrometers, a Keyence IM system, rad gauges, go/no-go gauges and rules.
Additional Knowledge:
Product knowledge in the hydraulics industry.
Understanding of production processes.
Proficient in using computer software for documentation and record-keeping.
SAP.
Excel and Word.
Access for logging only.
