Waste and Recycling Officer – Essex
Buckingham Futures is partnering with a Local Authority in Essex to recruit a Waste and Recycling Officer. This permanent role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and improving community services.
What you will do:
* Oversee day-to-day waste collection and recycling operations
* Investigate complaints such as missed collections or fly-tipping
* Ensure compliance with waste management legislation and environmental standards
* Promote recycling and sustainability initiatives in the community
* Work closely with contractors, internal teams, and residents to improve service delivery
* Contribute to service improvement, reporting, and monitoring
