About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ADHD Non-Medical Prescriber to join our dedicated clinical team, delivering high-quality assessment and treatment services for adults with ADHD.
You will play a pivotal role in the safe and effective prescribing, titration, and ongoing management of ADHD medication. You will be responsible managing and reviewing medication and ensuring all care is delivered in line with NICE guidelines and the highest standards of clinical practice.
The rate of remuneration for the role is paid for each individual initial medication assessment or titration/follow up that is completed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Formulate and implement plans for the treatment and medication management of clients using NICE guidance in line with national/local formularies
* Complete structured reviews for individuals with an existing ADHD diagnosis, providing holistic, patient-centred care that incorporates both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
* Initiate, titrate, and discontinue ADHD medications (stimulant and non-stimulant) as clinically indicated, in line with national guidance and internal standards
* Manage a caseload of patients through the medication pathway, ensuring regular reviews and ongoing medication management in accordance with internal protocols and NICE guidelines
* Generate prescriptions using appropriate prescribing formularies
* Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs alongside treatment strategies during ongoing patient care
* Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, NMP supervision, and multi-disciplinary team meetings
1. What We’re Looking For
* Current and unrestricted registration with NMC, HCPC or RPS
* Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
* Proven experience in the assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults
* Demonstrable professional experience, including managing complex or crisis situations
* Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage own caseload
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A strong commitment to clinical governance, compliance, and maintaining revalidation
