Engineering Manager – MERN Stack – UK permanent residents
Fully Remote – Up to £100k
Pearson Carter are currently working with an industry leading cyber security platform that are looking to expand their development team even further. This company have grown at a rapid rate over the last 12 months!
They are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in cloud-native development and deep expertise across the MERN stack. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to lead the engineering function, drive delivery, and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Responsibilities
* Manage and lead a team of full-stack engineers working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
* Oversee architectural decisions and technical direction.
* Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery timelines.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Design to execute on roadmap goals.
* Ensure robust, scalable cloud-native deployments using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
* Build and maintain a high-performance, growth-oriented engineering culture.
* Identify process improvements and optimize team workflows.
Experience
* Proven experience managing engineering teams in a product-led or SaaS environment.
* Strong background in the MERN stack and cloud-native development.
* Solid technical leadership with the ability to guide architectural decisions.
* Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
* Track record of successful delivery in fast-paced, agile environments.
* Passion for mentoring engineers and enabling career growth.
* Comfortable scaling engineering processes in teams of 50–500.

This is a fully remote role.
