Cleaning at LUHFT follows the National Standards of Cleaning 2025, including general cleaning duties, floor maintenance, and enhanced and deep cleaning of patient areas, clinics, and offices.
We have exciting vacancies within the Domestic Department at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and are recruiting staff to work in clinical areas (wards).
Various shifts available:
* Monday - Friday & weekends
* 07:00 - 15:00
* 13:00 - 19:00
* 14:00 - 20:00
* 16:00 - 21:00
* 17:00 - 20:00
* 19:00 - 07:00 (nights)
Applicants should ensure their application reflects their skills and experience, demonstrating their suitability for the role.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleaning wards, clinics, and offices to high standards
* Adhering to infection control policies and procedures
* Cleaning external areas across the trust
Essential: Cleaning experience for all posts
Good communication skills, ability to follow directions, and teamwork are essential. Physical fitness is required to perform duties such as mopping, dusting, lifting, and carrying.
