We have the following position available from 1st September 2026:-
Class Teaching Assistant - 27.5hrs per week – permanent
The salary is on KS B, Full Time Equivalent £26,822, Actual Salary £17,086, term time only. Class cover is paid at an additional £9 per hour.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small village Church of England primary school with a friendly community feel where we value and support staff development.
The successful candidate must have:
1. Knowledge and experience of working with KS2, Yr 5/6 would be desirable, with flexibility, if needed in other year groups.
2. Be able to cover PPA.
3. Knowledge and experience of Phonics desirable but training available.
4. Knowledge and experience of planning, teaching and delivering small group interventions.
5. Enthusiasm and be committed to the highest of expectations for all children.
6. A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
7. Characteristics which represent our school Christian values; Kindness, Forgiveness, Peace, Courage and Love.
8. A good level of Maths and English grade C GCSE or equivalent.
9. Be a learner themselves – open to continuing professional development opportunities.
10. Be a committed team member, show initiative and proactively work to improve their practice.
11. Very high expectations of behaviour and be committed to establishing positive relationships with every child.
