Responsibilities for an apprentice
* Supporting communication with clients via email and telephone
* Assisting the project management team with administrative duties
* Following up with suppliers, obtaining quotes, and assisting with ordering materials
* Supporting project coordination tasks including travel arrangements, deliverables tracking, and document management
* Assisting with bookkeeping data entry, expense tracking, and timesheet checks
* Updating company systems and sustainability tracking dashboards
* Maintaining Health & Safety records including equipment checks, risk assessments, and documentation
* Proofreading and supporting preparation of presentations, policies, and tender submissions
Apprenticeship Information
You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, typically completed over 12-18 months. This includes:
* Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
* A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
* Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
* Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
* Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
Prospects
Once you have completed your apprenticeship, there may be the opportunity to progress into a permanent role with potential development into areas such as Project Management, Bookkeeping, Marketing, Policy Writing, Human Resources, and Health & Safety Compliance.
