Ready to take on your next interim role within the Private Rented Sector?
A West Sussex local authority is seeking an experienced Private Rented Sector Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.
You'll be supporting tenants and landlords within the private rented sector, working to prevent homelessness and secure sustainable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering tenancy sustainment support to private sector tenants and landlords
Preventing homelessness through mediation around rent arrears and welfare benefit changes, including Universal Credit
Building and maintaining strong relationships with private landlords and letting agents
Sourcing suitable private rented accommodation to discharge homelessness duties
Supporting the Council's Rent in Advance and Deposit Guarantee Scheme, including investigating deposit claimsWhat you'll need:
Recent PRS experience within a UK local authority
Experience using Home Connections (desirable)
