Sales Manager – CMTAvanade is looking for Sales Managers focused on our Communications, Media and Technology sector sector within the Microsoft services ecosystem who will lead a small team and also drive sales themselves. You will lead a small team by identifying high potential technology transformation deals both independently and in partnership with Accenture to drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, partnering, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with clients. Your team will build a pipeline for growth and shepherd deals through closure, including working with our legal team on contracts. In addition to clients you work with directly, you will also interact with Accenture’s, new and current clients, gain referrals from them, and form strong trust relationships that open doors and close deals. You will also maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and applicable services and solutions.

What you’ll do
* Develop and lead a team of high performing sellers as you help align strategy with day to day field activities.
* Build and maintain access to key business decision makers and generating C-level contacts by networking across the marketplace.
* Meet with Microsoft and Accenture leaders to grow and maintain various channel relationships.
* Demonstrate and teach the Avanade Sales Process, challenger selling and account management practices.
* Manage your team’s sales forecast and instilling good pipeline hygiene within your team.
* Develop and deploy specific FS use cases based on experience.
* Occasionally travel to your client’s site, as needed.
* Act as Executive sponsor for your teams key clients, to help them drive success.
