Job Description
Senior Azure Consultant – Manchester, England, United Kingdom
What You Will Do
* Work with customers and Version 1 colleagues delivering high quality solutions on Microsoft Azure
* Engage with customers to understand requirements and identify solutions and opportunities
* Use DevOps processes and tooling for the delivery of IaaS and PaaS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Produce and contribute to high quality documentation
Qualifications
* Experience with the delivery of Azure technologies and solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secure
* Extensive hands‑on experience with at least two of the following: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix (including Citrix Cloud), VMware Horizon, Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
* Detailed understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions for the delivery of desktops and applications to end users
* In-depth knowledge of End User Computing concepts and solutions that affect VDI, such as identity, security, profile management, printing, image and application management, policies, etc.
* Experience working with Cloud native solutions and services
* Experience using DevOps and IaC tooling
* Experience with identity and security services and solutions
* Passionate about continual learning and development to keep track of emerging technology
* Ability to contribute to technical designs, identify issues and resolutions, and communicate to both technical and non‑technical audiences
* Good commercial awareness and ability to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities
