Role: Head of Academy for Olive AP Academy - Havering (following transition of previous Head of Academy to Executive Headteacher).
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day management and leadership of OA-Havering (OA-Hv) to deliver the trust’s vision and values.
* Ensure OA-Hv is a beacon of best practice in education and care for pupils who have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools.
* Support pupils to re-engage with education, make progress, achieve academically, and return to mainstream education where possible.
* Report to the Executive Headteacher.
* Oversee leadership; learning and teaching; people and resource management; safeguarding; and partnerships within the community, industry, and wider world.
* Ensure accountability and transparency in academy operations.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
* Permanent, full-time appointment with start date as specified.
* Experience in school leadership and management preferred.
