About The Role FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the banking sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role with the client based in Dublin. Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will play a pivotal role in shaping how they work. In this role, you’ll collaborate across the business to define requirements, map processes, and deliver high-quality documentation that supports their evolving Target Operating Model. This candidate would ideally have strong process mapping/re-engineering skills and have the capability to support the work to streamline their governance activities. Responsibilities Work with the business to define and agree requirements Collaborate across stakeholders to gather and collate input for structured documentation Work with leadership, Tribes, and other functions to shape and implement business agility frameworks and processes Partner with leadership, SMEs, and colleagues across functions to understand needs, define outcomes, and ensure solutions are adopted Map current and future state business processes, focusing on flow efficiency, lean principles, and customer (and colleague) value Translate goals and objectives into actionable epics, and user stories Work independently on multiple documents and topics concurrently Align the documentation with the Target Operating Model as it evolves throughout its lifecycle Use initiative to research and resolve issues and queries Follow the bank Methodology and leverage prescribed templates for deliverables About You 6-10 years` experience working as a Business Analyst in particular documenting processes, procedures and work instructions Experience of systems analysis and documenting all aspects of business processes and data mapping Experience of working in a financially regulated industry A strong technical understanding with business documentation writing experience Experience of working in an agile team/environment Demonstrated ability to define and agree business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Skilled in mapping current and future state business processes, applying lean principles and focusing on customer and colleague value Possesses strong process mapping/re-engineering skills who can support with the work to streamline governance activities Experience working with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement business agility frameworks and processes Proficient in translating strategic goals into actionable epics and user stories within an agile environment Strong technical understanding and experience in systems analysis, including data mapping and end-to-end process documentation Background in a financially regulated industry, with a solid understanding of banking operations and compliance Ability to work independently across multiple topics, aligning documentation with evolving Target Operating Models and using initiative to resolve issues Demonstrable experience working in an agile environment About Us Why join us Career coaching and access to upskilling throughout your entire FDM career Initial upskilling pre-assignment that has been accredited by TechSkills Assignments with global companies and opportunities to work abroad Opportunity to obtain certifications from Microsoft, Salesforce, Cisco and more Access to the Buy As You Earn share scheme About FDM We are a business and technology consultancy and one of the UKs leading employers, recruiting the brightest talent to become the innovators of tomorrow.
