Registered Manager – Complex Care Services Location: Derby, East Midlands Salary: Salary up to £50,000 Benefits Hours: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We’re working with a well-established, family-owned healthcare provider with over 30 years’ experience in the sector, who are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead their Derby-based complex care service. The branch currently delivers around 2,500 care hours per week to individuals with complex needs in the community. This is a key leadership position, offering the chance to take ownership of service quality, compliance, team development, and business growth. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving the company’s ambitious expansion plans across the Midlands and beyond. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily operations for the Derby service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care delivery. Maintain and improve CQC compliance and ratings. Manage relationships with commissioners, Local Authorities, ICBs, and private funders. Drive business growth by increasing referrals and care hours. Inspire and develop a high-performing team through effective leadership, supervision, and training. Oversee quality assurance, safeguarding, and health and safety standards. Monitor budgets and ensure financial viability of service delivery. The Candidate Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – essential for CQC registration. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within complex, domiciliary, or supported living care services. Proven experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions, or Physical Disabilities. Strong understanding of CQC regulations with a track record of maintaining ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings. Confident leader with strong communication, organisational, and commercial skills.
