Join to apply for the Band 2 Facilities Assistant role at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
We have a vacancy based at Loughborough Hospital within our Estates and Facilities Directorate, working 15 hours per week, 5pm to 8pm Monday to Friday. As a Facilities Assistant you will provide an effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of portering, cleaning and catering.

All roles will provide a range of duties across our Trust sites and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered.

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or varied working patterns in line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period. All jobs will require permission to work in the UK. For all jobs the cost of any DBS disclosure required will be met by the individual.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and regenerate patient meals at ward level on a daily basis.
* Provide an effective, patient-focused cleaning and domestic service, including washing linen, to meet NHS cleanliness standards within designated patient/non-patient areas.
* Provide appropriate portering services including transportation of linen cages, waste bins/carts in and around hospital environments and patient moves (reception to department or department to department).
* Rotate between responsibilities as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Entry level/seniority as listed for the role (Band 2).
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team within a healthcare setting.
* Willingness to work 15 hours per week, 5pm–8pm, Monday to Friday.
* Eligibility to work in the UK and eligibility for a DBS disclosure as required.
