We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join us in Bradford.
Liberty Global Shared Service Centre (LGSSC) acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with expertise in Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems. This central team supports multiple businesses across Liberty Global.
You will deliver high-quality, consistent Employee Services advice, support, and resolution to all employees, people managers, and external parties across the entire employee lifecycle. This will be achieved through applying People/Shared Services policies and procedures, with the aim of making LGSSC a great place to work and providing a positive employee experience that enhances their daily effectiveness.
What will you be doing?
1. Providing a professional, compliant, and consistent service to all employees.
2. Resolving day-to-day employee and line manager inquiries, issues, and complaints, escalating as necessary.
3. Supporting line managers and employees with generalist HR support, including absence, performance management, and misconduct guidance.
4. Entering all employee data into associated systems accurately and in a timely manner, meeting standards and targets.
5. Creating and maintaining documents, records, and data according to procedures and standards.
6. Maintaining contact management system accuracy to ensure high People/Shared Service satisfaction.
7. Processing workflow requests promptly and consistently.
8. Maintaining confidentiality in all work aspects.
9. Ensuring understanding of corporate policies, standards, and HR processes, addressing non-conformances, and making approved amendments.
10. Engaging employees and line managers with guidance, signposting, and walking them through templates and materials to promote self-service.
11. Understanding the needs of employees, line managers, and the HR team, and seeking continuous improvement in people services.
We tend to look for people with:
1. A minimum of L3 CIPD qualification.
2. An understanding of the HR employee lifecycle.
3. An interest in employment law, its application, and best practices.
4. Strong communication skills via telephone and email, capable of delivering advice and managing challenging conversations efficiently.
5. Experience in providing policy and process advice to line managers and employees is desirable.
