Join Our Team as a Part-Time Supervising Social Worker!

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team in Coventry.

Founded in 1996, Fosterplus is an independent fostering agency committed to breaking the cycle of disrupted childhoods. We carefully match foster parents with children to ensure they receive the support and guidance they need to thrive emotionally and academically.
Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Provide direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.
* Maintain high standards through quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
* Strong IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
* A full driving license and access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This part-time position offers:
* 28 hours per week (4 days).
* A salary of up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00).
* Office location in Long Eaton, with a standard caseload covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire (no more than a 1-hour drive).
