A role you will love
As one of our Capacity & Performance Manager, you be responsible for ensuring the efficient, scalable, and cost-effective operation of hybrid IT infrastructure by proactively monitoring, analysing, and forecastingpute, storage, network and software license utilisation.
In this role, you will be supporting business continuity and growth by developing capacity models, identifying performance bottlenecks, and optimizing resource allocation across on-premises and cloud environments.
Some key responsibilities include:
4. Taking ownership and accountability to monitor and forecastpute, storage and network capacity and performance across public cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments.
5. Make data driven rmendations based on historical usage data and forecasts.
6. Model impacts on capacity based on project forecasts & new service implementation plans.
7. Develop capacity models and thresholds to support business growth and continuity, work with NOC and engineering to implement proactive capacity alerts and responses.
8. Use SolarWinds to visualize network topology and traffic patterns, set thresholds and alerts for link saturation and device health.
9. Automate and provide regular reports to IT Leadership and stakeholders on capacity status, risks, and rmendations.
What will you bring to the role?
As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for someone with a wide range of technical expertise covering many technology towers. The knowledge of key capacity and performance metrics for tracking, analysis and rmending standards including for alerting tied into ITSM processes is key for this role.
With this role being global and a key part of our team, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role in aplex organisation. As this role will be dealing with various different stakeholders and teams, you will need excellentmunication skills to effectively provide clear verbal and writtenmunications with internal stakeholders, their teams and the leadership team.
Other key skills required for the role include:
10. Experience working within various technology environments across storage,pute and networking.
11. Cloud experience, particularly in Azure.
12. Reporting skills to effectively provide updates and analysis for stakeholders and teams.
13. Experience of leveraging PowerBI and Grafana
14. Demonstrable experience of gathering data via APIs and other means across a range of technologies
15. Excellent attention to detail and evaluative judgement based on best practice and previous experience.
16. Excellentmunication and stakeholder management skills.
