The position of Technician Relations Manager centers on three key priorities for GWS and our employees:
Strengthening relations and ensuring timely communication

Fostering professional development and maintaining strong relationships with our technicians
This role is vital within our organization for establishing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with our field-based technicians. Additionally, it involves managing various administrative duties and supporting initiatives related to technician growth and satisfaction.
As a Technician Relations Manager, you will oversee a diverse group of technicians, working closely with our Operations, Recruitment, and Integrated Planning teams to deliver top-tier service to our field employees.
Reporting to the Head of Technician Relation Management, you will join a dedicated team focused on employee satisfaction and relationship building, directly impacting GWS’s ability to provide excellent service to clients and staff alike.
Requirements Role Responsibilities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with technicians via email, phone, face-to-face meetings, and site visits
Serving as the primary contact for GWS Wind Turbine Technicians, providing accurate and timely information
Communicating project assignments clearly to technicians
Supporting technicians’ professional growth through regular discussions, addressing concerns, and performance issues
Maintaining and updating the Qualification Matrix accurately and promptly
Managing technician CVs, ensuring they reflect current skills, experience, and project assignments for effective planning and sales
Gathering feedback from Site Managers and Leaders to inform continuous improvement efforts
Promoting safety and quality culture within GWS
Monitoring technician utilization and advising on resource allocation and training needs
Handling annual leave requests in coordination with planning and management teams
Supporting disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR and management, ensuring fairness and compliance
Overseeing offboarding procedures for departing technicians
Approving internal expenses related to technicians
Encouraging cross-departmental cooperation to enhance organizational efficiency
Introducing new technician contract types as needed
Managing budget approvals for work clothing
Job Requirements
Proven experience in remote and face-to-face interactions
Background in recruitment, customer service, or similar fast-paced environments is advantageous

Proactive with a positive attitude and understanding of multicultural team dynamics
