We are working closely with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and were looking for passionate, patient, and committed SEN Tutors to join our team.
About the Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will provide 1:1 tuition tailored to each learners individual needs. Students may have needs including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH, anxiety, or learning difficulties. Sessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions
Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
Build positive, trusting relationships with learners and families
Track progress and provide clear feedback
Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and professionals
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
Calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
Relevant teaching or tutoring qualifications (preferred but not essential)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
